Newsroom trainees interested to intern at Southeast Asia Globe

The second trainees of the Newsroom Training Program expressed their desire to work as interns at the Southeast Asia Globe after visiting there to understand how the media institution works and, especially, to know job opportunities the interns can apply after completing the course at the Newsroom.

One of the trainees, Ms. An Khema, expressed her interest in being an intern there. She said, their work is very much in line with her passion and she wants to have more experience in journalism field at that place.

“I will return to see how they work again. If I can see myself doable, I will apply to be an intern here.” she continued.

Another trainee, Venerable Sam Sopich, expressed interest in being a translator at Southeast Asia Globe, but he will be able to make time to work there in the future.

Ms. Julija Veljkovic, Editorial Channel Manager and Creative Writer, says the Southeast Asia Globe focuses on politics, economics, the environment and so on, both in Cambodia and in the region, and is currently recruiting for two editorial internships. She welcomes the trainees who want to be interns at Southeast Asia Globe.

“I feel really excited to see them actively participate in the visit with so many questions and look at them as potential partners. We also welcome trainees who want to apply to be interns here too.” she said.
