Voices for Gender Equality Project
CCIM is co-implementing a project “Voices for Gender Equality: Empowering women, LGBTQ persons, WHRDs and communities to demand justice and combat gender-based violence” for a period of 48 months starting 1 March 2018 with the Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) and the Cambodian Committee on CEDAW (NGO-CEDAW). CCIM is implementing the activities on: producing and broadcasting public service announcements (PSAs) related to gender; training of citizen journalists (CJs) on reporting gender issues; production of investigative reports on gender; organizing community debates in communities; launching a competition on radio drama script writing and short film production, and broadcast of live weekly talk show. The radio talk show is dubbed “Voices for Gender Equality”.
