Award for Ethical Journalism

News report (written, video, audio), in which you faced an ethical dilemma while reporting (i.e., you were offered a bribe but refused, you struggled but succeeded to protect the identity of a victim, etc.). Please include a short summary 2-3 paragraphs of the ethical dilemma you faced and how you ultimately overcame it to produce a good piece of journalism.

Award for Courage in Journalism

News report that covers a topic identified as being sensitive or difficult to report on (due to pressure or fear of repercussions: including land concessions, corruption, and politics/politicians).

Award for expanding Access to Information

News report that provides the critical community service of providing information that was not previously accessible due to limited transparency in Cambodia. The report can include any but not limited to these stories (concessions, national or local budgets, salaries of public officials). Please accompany your submission with a short explanation (2-3 paragraphs) of the struggles you faced in accessing this information.

Award for gender in media mainstreaming

News report that covers a gender issue in a sensitive and empowering way.

How to apply

The report must have been broadcast/published in Cambodia; can be in Khmer or English; and must have been filed within the last year (Dec. 2014 to Nov. 2015)

សូមសរសេររៀបរាប់សង្ខេប ពីរឬបីកថាខណ្ឌពីបញ្ហាដែលអ្នកជួបប្រទះ។

សូមផ្ញើរនូវរបាយការណ៍ព័ត៌មានដែលផ្តល់សហគមន៍នូវព័ត៌មានដែលពីមុនគេមិនអាចទទួលបាន ដោយសារកង្វះតម្លាភាពក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ ឧទាហរណ៍ដូចជារឿង (ដីសម្បទាន, ថវិការជាតិឬថ្នាក់ក្រោមជាតិ, ប្រាក់ខែបុគ្គលិកសាធារណៈជាដើម). សូមសរសេររៀបរាប់សង្ខេប ពីរឬបីកថាខណ្ឌពីបញ្ហាដែលអ្នកជួបប្រទះពេលស្នើរសុំព័ត៌មាននោះ។

2. ផ្ញើរអ៊ីម៉ែលដោយភ្ជាប់មកជាមួយនូវពាក្យសុំ និងអត្ថបទព័ត៌មានរបស់អ្នកមកកាន់ communications@ccimcambodia.org ឱ្យបានត្រឹមថ្ងៃ ២ ខែកុម្ភះ ២០១៦។
