Training on Community Radio

From October 10 to 15, 2011, CCIM hosted a training workshop on community radio programming funded by UNESCO. Fifteen participants took part in the training at Mondulkiri, including Department of Information officials, a member of the radio station in Kratie, and Punong minority community members from the province. Trainees learned the basic concepts of community radio and how to produce community radio programs. This included introductions to news reporting, feature writing, interview techniques, and using editing tools. Participants also learned the basics of reporting on HIV/Aids, human rights, food security and nutrition.
