Project at a Glance
The Networking and Advocacy programs focus on CCIM’s advocacy efforts on media-related issues. Through this program, CCIM actively provides legal support to journalists, closely monitors and documents incidents against media workers, and produces timely quarterly reports, briefs, and public statements addressing harassment and threats to journalists. The Unit also organizes regular events and public forums to champion freedom of expression, press freedom, internet freedom, and digital rights, strengthening public awareness and accountability.

Journalist Protection

Incident monitoring
as part of the journalist protection efforts, CCIM also monitor and record incidents against journalists in Cambodia. We release quarterly brief on our findings as part of our advocacy for better protection for journalists reporting on sensitive issues.
